Linda Leise Farrand

When I was younger, I did many housekeeping jobs for many well to do people. In the early 70's I worked for the United States Forrest Service in Juneau, Alaska. In the late 70's, my first two children arrived. The first was Timothy P. Farrand Jr. in 1977. The second was James L. Farrand in 1979.

In the 80's, I lived on a mountain called Dunn Mountain, around 16 miles from the city of Colville, WA. Here is where I began to raise and sell many animals. Some of these include ducks, rabbits, chickens, and horses. I also decided to take up raising and distributing many pure-bred cats such as Siamese, Birmans, Ragdolls, Himalayans, and Persians. I sold cats and kittens to clients in the pacific northwest for many years. I even sold some of these cats to Canada. One of my favorite sale stories was when one of my clients came up to Spokane from Ohio for a wedding, and they came up to colville for a cat to take home with them. Photographers from Spokane came up to purchase two of my kittens and sent me back some nice photographs of them.

In 1992 my third son Ryan C. Warren was born. After this i worked for a few years at a nursing home in Colville, WA.

I have always been a fan of Chevrolet pickups, and still have my '76 K10 Silverado 4x4. I have had this truck since '85 and it still is operational to this day. My first son which is now 33 has been riding in this truck since he was 8.

My oldest son Tim resides in Spokane now and works at the Enterprise rental at Spokane International Airport. James who is 31 resides in Bremerton and works at a Power Sports Company. My youngest Ryan graduated from Colville High School on June 5th, 2010 and is ready to immediatly hit the work force to save up enough funds to attent Spokane Community College for any Electrical trade, which he is hoping to take classes for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) in Automation and also take courses in Transmission and Distrobutions for radio towers.

I have been divorced and single since 1994 and am very much enjoying my single life.

I also have two wonderful cats. One is mine the other is my sons. My sons cat is named Fuzz and is a very fat white short-hair and is 9 years old. He was at 25 pounds but we put him on a diet and now is at a healthier 16 pounds. My cat is named Six-Toes and is named that because he has six toes on each front paw. he is about 2 and a half years old and is part maine coon which are known to have extra toes and a visible "M" on their forehead.

I enjoy very much watching thunderstorms, meteor showers and sunsets. I loved riding my horses and will miss them forever. I had one for 25 years, but I had to sell her because of divorce. I had a German Shepherd who lived to be 16. The horse, dog, and I rode and walked many miles over the years. I still love to walk and hike and ride my ten speed racing bicycle. Also I enjoy drawing and art, and I still love to drive my old Chevrolet Truck and working on it with my sons.

I hope to reconnect with some of my classmates, however a few of them do not have profiles, but the ones that do I hope to talk to again.
